My dear readers

Instead of prolonging this & wasting time on trying to write an epic farewell post, it occurred to me today, finally, that I should make this simple, hence;

This is indeed my final post!

It has been an honor knowing and meeting you and equal honor writing in this corner I called mine for years.

Mirroring my first post I declare that weather I’m stuck in a giant robot mid battle or running through the savanna to the sunset, I wish to meet you again somewhere else in this virtual space.

State Of Day. Thank you for all those who congratulated me for becoming a brand new auntie ^-^ although I still haven’t seen my nephew who is in another city, but I will soon, two or three from now hopefully! 

I still don’t know what are my duties as an aunt but I’m positive I’ll do well :) wish me luck.

State Of Day. Today I officially became an aunt. My older brother RoboBro, in the wee hours of this day, has transformed into a father. It makes such cosmic sense that the first child of this man in particular is born in a World Cup year.

RoboBro, you see, is a football fanatic :P

In fact, it is because of him that I was introduced to the fabulous FC Barcelona.

What? Why yes, of course I’m happy :) there’s a new baby in town!

No idea what was I writing, or thinking?

It just came to me, watching the night series with my two sisters. Thinking of  a word starting with B….and 'black' came, and with it a feeling.

Not an idea, just an overwhelming feeling of something dark and beautiful.

I was afraid it made no sense. 

In the morning though, the veil was left off, kind of.

But like a good poet I’ll leave you to your own interpretations.

I wrote this post last year, some things have changed since, but it still applies to this year and to RoboBro, it’s his birthday (yesterday that is, Blogger stopped me from posting it then >:< ) and I warned him of a bomb, well I hope you find it as funny as much as he will find it shocking (evil laughter).

Happy Birthday Aboudi

The twenty seven of February was the birthday of a very favorite person of mine (and the whole family actually), my very young nephew Abdelrahman who goes with the nickname Aboudi has reached his first year of life, he’s in the UAS so we couldn’t through him a party, instead I wrote him a poem, just for his royal highness ;) this little Mr. Cute has brought so much joy to the hearts of all the family, I hope you too can also see why
