Your Captain: The THEME revealer!

State Of Day. Notice I changed decoration? That is what I was talking about back in August 2015.
………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Why Hello there everyone!

I cut this strategic withdrawal to present you with my 2016 A to Z challenge Theme. Now I wish I can say I’m all free and we can chat like we used to do before but alas, I thought I will be through with my research this March but now even April is taken into the loop.
or is it out of the equation?
Good news is–isha’Allah- I will be joining you all in the marathonic A to Z challenge. I would not miss it for the world. Now I doubt I will be as active as last year but I will do my best. Hoping only to keep posting until day Zero.

It’s Reflection Time!

List here

Why hello there! You’re still around? Cool.

This is Captain Haneen’s ever first A to Z challenge reflection post. Through April I have become an expert in 3 swords from the East, Middle Earth and the West, caught a sun ray, crossed the fire chasm, swooned over the power of innocence, turned philosopher and blew the foghorn announcing the Captain I am.
And not surprisingly many many more.
I invaded my city of loneliness room after room and came up with what the lonely poet would put in her notebook. What a journey it was.

L = Lighthouse (like Duh!) + The Lighthouse by Karen Heard too :D

State Of Day. So How To Train Your Dragon 2 was fun to watch. I liked the mirroring that was there between Hiccup and Toothless story arcs. And the younger characters were made much likable than they were in the first movie. I literary hated Astrid, now I think the mature Astrid is interesting. But come on! These boys are in their twenties, you can’t possibly convince me they haven’t got facial hair yet :|

Farewell to The Master

State Of Day. On the Man City match last Tuesday Messi oddly missed a penalty and from two tries! ouch. Not surprisingly he took it pretty hard.

after the miss :(
But...yesterday against Granada in La Lega he scored an effortless goal that got him all smiling again. Welcome back Leo.

And it was from quite a while yes but I’ve received the Liebster Award, my ever first award yay! More on this in a coming post, thank you Tyrean Martinson.

From here & There

I think. my protagonist Mark is whinny. No scratch that he IS whinny. I’m still struggling with the first draft but I cannot ignore the feeling that this is a setback. I really fear that readers will hate him for that. Besides I hate whinny characters, Go figure!
In my head I see him perfectly, how he speaks, moves, fights, laughs I can almost feel him, but when it comes to application words delude me, on paper he’s an annoying little brat! (Ugh! It hurts me deeply to say that, forgive me Mark, please forgive me :(

Ok snap out of it!

Mark is the only son of his family, he’s rich, hard headed and spoiled and sometimes awfully rude!
He has a quite complicated relationship with his parents and because of that he possess this tendency to hurt those who are close to him, who genuinely care for him.  I need to tune his rudeness down a bet though, after all -vampire or not- he is still a gentile(vamp) in the nineteenth century, he can’t be walking around bashing whatever he dislikes and shooting bad words on people, women included. Or can he?
Actually putting all that aside, when he’s not in one of his aggressive moods Mark can be lavishly charming,  I know he’s my character but this is how I imagined him from the start, and this the outcome I’m doing my best to display accurately (did I actually said that boring line?!)

The Other Side Of Down (1): Jan what have you Done?

State of day. Wohohoh my boys scored 6 goals against Getafe in la liga and it was epic! Not that they haven’t spoil us with such big gifts before, I’m quite used to it by now, but still it was phenomenal to watch, like any other Barca game ;)
..............................................................

Well January is gone and hello February, and I’m feeling stressed already which is NOT good, but Alhamdulillah (thank you Allah) for everything. I know, I know I promised you guys two Barca posts and I will deliver but a lot has been going on lately so I decided to make this post a list of last month’s achievements, and here it goes;
