ٍSo what's the difference between winning and losing in a Champions league quarter-final match?
Day: 10th of April, Wednesday
Place: Camp Nou
Match: Barcelona vs PSG Champions League quarter-final second leg
State: Barca are supposed to be winners since they scored 2 in Paris.
Highlight: Lionel Andres Messi is on the bench!!!!!
In the first leg last week our very own Messi suffered from a damaged hamstring injury during the first half (it was enough to danger his appearance on the second leg) once he got out of the game in the second half Barcelona finished the game in a tie with PSG 2-2
Now they are still the winners (right?)
BUT honestly...with defence troubles and no Leo? that result is VERY questionable. So what happened?
The game starts with the very rare scene of Leo on the bench ..the team is struggling and so is he (me too)...he has literary chewed off his nail!
at the beginning of the second half the worst happens and Pastore gives PSG the winning goal, time for action
Messi replaced Cesc Fabregas in the 62nd minute and almost 100,000 Barca fans packed in the arena were roaring with joyful sounds.
Messi doing his magic |
he passed to Villa, Villa to Pedor and BAM!!!
Pedro - the new father- dedicates the goal to his baby and FC Barcelona wins the game.
Congratulations! the Club's official anthem "Tot el Camp" plays in the air announcing the team is officially off to the semifinals for the 6th time on the row, WOW!
"We want to thank him, and say congratulations for everything he did to get himself ready for the game and to help the team. He's the number one...We felt his presence when he came on the pitch, he lifted us and we got the result."
Pedro Rodriguez
Well said Pedro :)
And with his usual good manners the hero says bye
Once again Messi saves the day
The difference between winning and losing you say?
The answer is one man
One name
Messi

Something else. Ineista! Iniesta! Iniesta!
if only ONLY that incredible, stylish stunt finished with a goal? that would have been simply ridiculous!
