Book Review: Sunbolt

Hello guys!

I don’t do much reviewing on my blog here, yes I talk books when the chance comes, like here and here. In fact the only book I officially reviewed was The Hobbit. And that was because I was enamored. A result of various reasons including my incurable crush on the Baggins Boys. Ehem. Anyway I wanted to read Sunbolt for a while now, and also promised the very nice and talented IntisarKhanani I would review it in celebration of the upcoming release of the sequel or the second book of The Sunbolt Chonicles; Memoriesof Ash (on May 30) so here we are.

Your Captain's Reflection Post and a yummy book

State Of Day. I know I know! Sunbolt review will come after this reflection post, I’m keeping this promise, sheesh!

And. After watching the Bollywood movie Drishyam and liking it I read it was inspired by the Japanese detective book The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino, so I hunted for that book and Oh MY God! What a read, guys if you were living under a tent like me and haven’t come across this gem I say you must. I’m utterly speechless, I loved this book to pieces. Can you believe I hated no one and fell for every single man in this novel? Other than the victim himself that is, irony. Anyway, review on goodreads coming up soon.

R = RED & Reading with a hint of Football

Wishing for this to happen again tonight
(MSN) celebrating with a goal for each

State Of Day. PSG are the opponent tonight, Champions League, 2nd leg, home. After the victorious 3 – 0 in the 1st leg FC Barcelona is pretty close to reaching the semifinals after this match, unless of course we shoot ourselves in the foot, which is something the team historically prevails in doing.
But no, no, no bad vibes, today is the day of positive energy.

Visca Barca.

IWSG: "and I further deduce!" he exclaimed

Hello! Whoever is reading this you already rock :) it is time for the Insecure Writers Support Group post again and I feel as insecure as ever!

I never imagined myself writing a mystery. Well not generally speaking, my novels naturally do include mysteries and puzzles, I love these kind of things.

RoboBro is a Robot who happens to love Football

Crazy Robot destroying the house in Jumanji 2

I wrote this post last year, some things have changed since, but it still applies to this year and to RoboBro, it’s his birthday (yesterday that is, Blogger stopped me from posting it then >:< ) and I warned him of a bomb, well I hope you find it as funny as much as he will find it shocking (evil laughter).

For the love of Writing

State of day. It’s official, I’m back to working on the pesky MA research again, God save me.

Also, I decided to start the J.R.R. Tolkien books on my month April :) what better time will there be? Although I’m afraid the whole Frodo business leaving Middle Earth will ruin my appetite for almost everything, but there’s no way around it, I need to read the series, I mean how can I consider myself a fan when I’m still clueless about the books?

Ugh! scratch all that, I need to know everything about my guy..er Hobbit.. sue me!

Hi there everyone! Missed you a lot.

So I want. to write something pretty for a change, you see till this day I think my strongest post is my first one, everything else I wrote seem pale compared to it, that’s why I’m trying something different today.

The Other Side Of Down (1): Jan what have you Done?

State of day. Wohohoh my boys scored 6 goals against Getafe in la liga and it was epic! Not that they haven’t spoil us with such big gifts before, I’m quite used to it by now, but still it was phenomenal to watch, like any other Barca game ;)
..............................................................

Well January is gone and hello February, and I’m feeling stressed already which is NOT good, but Alhamdulillah (thank you Allah) for everything. I know, I know I promised you guys two Barca posts and I will deliver but a lot has been going on lately so I decided to make this post a list of last month’s achievements, and here it goes;

My first post: YaY! For New Beginnings

State of Day: So Lionel Messi on 7 Jan won his fourth consecutive FIFA Ballon d’Or. It’s about time the high of the moment is wearing off me…Dance! Dance! Dance! O yea! O yea! O yea! etc (more on that later). But Amanda Hocking’s post The Absence and the movie ‘Warrior ’ broke my heart.
