Missing You

State of Day. I said maybeeee.. your gonna be the one that saves meeee.. and after aaaall.. you’re my wonderwaaaall.

Wow it’s been a while since I last blogged. It’s the Adha Eid holiday week and I’m home studying and hanging out, the first three days (Eid was Saturday) were quite stressful. But what I know is I missed blogging. I missed you guys and I certainly missed my cute Kindergarten kids (nice to be called Miss Haneen, respect. Haha)

How are you everyone? How’s life been and what dreams were you perusing? I hope some of you made magic, intoxicating magic.

For Gaza

The weather this Ramadan maybe a bet rainy in my country but it's blood red for the people in Gaza.
ًPlease do pray for the remaining souls there.

Thank you.

Brazil World Cup part (2) From 16 to 8 and Decreasing

State of Day. I’m happy that Carles Puyol former Barca Captain was the Spanish player chosen by Fifa to represent former winners Spain and have the honor to hand the Cup to the new winning team on the final night. A respect he truly deserves.
Saw Hugo again yesterday, that scene in the end with a tearing Hugo telling the guard ‘you should understand’ gesturing to his injured leg gets to me every time, I love this movie.
And is it true that Suarez is coming to Barca? I think it is. Badly done FC Barcelona management, badly done.

Brazil World Cup part (1) The Goodbyes

it will be kinder

The World Cup couldn’t have chosen a worse time to, well, happen! Ah! It is I who couldn’t have chosen a lousier time to start a new job. I wanted to blog earlier but didn’t have the time, got a lot on me plate these days but here I am today and it is the part where I say goodbye to the departing teams of stage one.

What are my insecurities this month?
I really don’t know how to talk about this or what to write.
I’m on a crossroad, not a very cheerful place to be.
I feel my brain's fried. Can’t write. Can’t work, can’t do anything.
All my plans for the year have crashed and burned.
Got to take a break.
Got to breath…stand still for a while and learn to live again.

I hope your having a better time.
Oh Lord!

I'm BACK! I is for Iniesta along with J and K

Guys I’m back. And I’m being as optimistic as possible saying that. I really missed you all and the A to Z challenge and I hope you all are doing great in your life.
Well I formatted my poor laptop, and of course silly me had to lose many files and posts and all my e-books except some I managed surprisingly to save. Don’t worry I still have my manuscripts and research draft. If I lost those well I would be in an asylum by now. Still it’s a disaster.
I missed Charity’s Dr Who posts more than anything. Really…life without the internet while Dr Who is talked about and explained! That’s harsh.
As I promised my I, J and K are all together in one post, I’ll do all I can to catch up.

H is for Haneen. Your Captain, duh!

Hello again everyone, the second post in the day and I refuse to be put down by my yesterday failure, I am on fire so make sure not to catch a flame. Today I will tell you the story of the name Haneen.
So I’m a narcissist, sue me! :P

:”( G is for Geography..sniff, sniff

State of day. I’m so sorry. Mostly for myself. I missed a day in the A to Z challenge and I am probably officially disqualified by now, but at least it wasn’t due to laziness. I had my post ready to publish but then my clumsiness got in and I broke my brothers Wi-Fi and had no other way to connect to the internet.
I got really upset, and I mean depressed upset, it was very late at night anyway, it was a long day and many other things contributed but this, missing the challenge was the last straw. Today I woke up with swelling eyes.
Ah well. I’ll be posting the H separately so I can say later that I posted twice a day. :)

E is words?

Okay. I confess. All day long I had no freaking idea what to post that starts with E, so I decided to pick some words from here and there.

D is for Death & There's also advice and a Cover reveal

Add caption

State of day. A to Z blogging challenge is going pretty well (for now :P) and it’s loads of fun too, Sheena-kay on Queensheena mentions a character every day, yesterday she talked about no other than Carlisle Cullen my favorite Vampire, needless to say I made a fuss about it. also, my no.1 blogger on this challenge so far is Crystal Collier some influential people and historical facts, right up my alley, better check it out if you're into such things too.

O-O . Can you believe it was only yesterday that I found out CharityBradford’s theme for the challenge is Dr Who?!! (invisible indefinite exclamation marks) I’m really mad for missing this one, at least we’re only in the fourth letter.

Something Extra. Natalie Whipple this week dived in and came out with a no-nonsense advice about writing. Worth reading.

A is for Apolonian

State of day. Goodbye Ami Schaheera, the sweet and soft spoken Malaysian fashion blogger who passed away last week after a long struggle with leukemia, a good friend of bloggers Aishah Amin and Shahirah Elaiza, both ladies mourned her with a moving post, broke my heart. innalillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon (From Him we come and unto Him we will return).

A Shooting star

Well let's face it every time Barca meets Osasuna it's normally the big win, so I’m not here to brag about the 7-0 that took place on Sunday night, yes yes I won't deny my joy when the team scores like crazy, it’s rather refreshing before difficult coming matches, they have Real Madrid on their schedule for next Sunday, a la lega game, expected –as usual  to be a true pain, but I also can't deny my feelings of restlessness & guilt when other teams are crushed and burned like that, it hurts, if a little.

IWSG: "and I further deduce!" he exclaimed

Hello! Whoever is reading this you already rock :) it is time for the Insecure Writers Support Group post again and I feel as insecure as ever!

I never imagined myself writing a mystery. Well not generally speaking, my novels naturally do include mysteries and puzzles, I love these kind of things.

IWSG or Your Captain: The Insecured

I always wanted to participate in the grand work of the Insecure Writer Support Group since I am an insecure writer by nature, seriously people, if there is a test for that I will pathetically pass with flying flags. I loved how each month various writers come together to flash that pretty badge and open up about their fears and doubts.

Your Captain: The Mentally Ill

State of day. I want to thank Nathan Bransford for coming across subjects like writers and depression and that he shared the info that The Rejectionist is making an anticipated serial about writers and mental illness that I enjoyed thus far, I also want t thank Michelle D. Argyle for her open attitude towards her mental problems on her blog, and a big thank you for Natalie Whipple because it was  her honesty about her struggles with anxiety that helped me recognize my own troubles back in 2012. :)

Joys and Fashion in Fifa Ballon d'Or world

Hello There!

Well!!! here are the boys!

The Barca boys at yesterday’s Fifa Ballon d’or annual gala at Zurich, looking very elegant and dazzling with Leo shinning a little brighter, haha. A pretty photo missing only the Don Iniesta since he chose not to grace the gala with his precious presence this year, he had a small bump on the leg in the last match with Atletico and preferred to make sure not to push himself too hard. It’s a world cup year and stuff (obvious with the Brazilian mascot  Fuleco spreading his arms yesterday and scaring children of stage!) we don’t want any mistakes, for God’s sake NO more injuries!!!!! Please or I’ll shoot myself.
