The Last Voyage: Illuminate #AtoZChallenge

State Of Day. Thank you for all those who congratulated me for becoming a brand new auntie ^-^ although I still haven’t seen my nephew who is in another city, but I will soon, two or three from now hopefully! 

I still don’t know what are my duties as an aunt but I’m positive I’ll do well :) wish me luck.

Hello friends!

Today let’s dive immediately into the A to Z challenge, and our letter ‘I’.

The world was black Jade! A deep darkness the Sea Captain never witnessed before, only the far away screams and shouts of her men were heard.

This dark magic she thought, must be the danger she anticipated since they left their last port a week ago and now she lost all control. It didn’t help that she was floating, that she no longer recognizes this wide empty space. Her mind was racing, this is a work of a powerful enemy and time is no longer by their side.

“Help!” the panicky shouts resumed.

“Gerard?!”

“Captain!” that was little Adam.

“Stay calm men!” her first in command yelled “Find the captain!”

Only two things were certain, they were still on the ship, the evil spell is only tricking them to think they are somewhere foreign and frightening. The second thing was the most important, with her hand reaching for her sword hilt, ready to conjure her own magic she knew it is up to her to be the savior.

To guide them all out of this she must be the light.

Cinquain is a non-rhyming 5-lined poem pioneered by Adelaide Crapsey (1878 - 1914). There are many ways to write it, weather relaying on the number of words or syllables in each line, which makes it always end up in a diamond-like shape. I will be following the two and sometimes a mix of both types.
