Hello everyone!
It is
B-Day in the A to Z challenge and for the Sea Captain ^-^
Over the
years I celebrated my birthday on the 2nd of April on this sweet
avenue “I Will Never Give you Up” that I’m saying goodbye to through the A to Z
event.
It
became kind of a ritual, and this year isn’t different, except it will be my
last celebration here. Okay, here we Go!

Now let’s
talk poetry shall we?
On her
ship crossing the sea, the powerful deafening wind blowing around her, The Sea Captain
holds her hat tight and worries. She wishes to stay the same, to not lose her
identity while searching for new lands or else all will be lost.
Will she stay true to herself, to what she
believes and loves?

Cinquain
is a non-rhyming 5-lined poem pioneered by Adelaide Crapsey (1878 - 1914).
There are many ways to write it, weather relaying on the number of words or
syllables in each line, which makes it always end up in a diamond-like shape. I
will be following the two and sometimes a mix of both types.
